Maud Tolédano is a ballet dancer, instructor and international choreographer having worked in France, Luxembourg, Austria and Singapore.
Her ballet technical background is based on the French system and school. Having studied and danced with ballet Masters from different countries and styles, Maud takes on an open-minded approach to ballet techniques and styles, which she aspires to pass on to her own students.
Maud Tolédano is an passionate teacher, having more than 25 years of experience in ballet teaching. On top of being Director and Principal Ballet instructor at l’Académie de Danse Singapore, Maud Tolédano is also currently ballet instructor at NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts - Singapore) where she trains professional dance students.
Many of her students have earned prizes at national and international ballet competitions, and have joined renown ballet schools and institutions around the world like Youth Ballet WA in Perth, Australia, the New English Contemporary Ballet in Nottingham, England, and several conservatories in France.
Maud encourages her students to join international workshops, and many of her students have been accepted to various workshops worldwide – Lines Ballet summercamp in San Francisco, Boston Ballet summer programme in Boston, the Russian Master Ballet Camp in Spain, Monte Carlo summercamp, and Paris Opera summercamp.
As choreographer, Maud has been Artistic Director of the Rivera Dance Company (France), Almavo Dance Company (Luxembourg), and she has been guest Choreographer for NUS Dance Ensemble (Singapore), Republic Polytechnic Arts Festival (Singapore).
Maud Tolédano feels a great passion for ballet and wishes to pass on her wide knowledge and love for ballet to students through demanding yet entertaining classes!
